Original mesh hoods vs new BTO dust
Mature blocks fail on varnish-sticky hoods and black grout. New BTOs fail on gypsum in tracks and coils. Say which one you have.
Same clock as the rest of the island
A 3-room empty handover is typically 4-6 hours with two cleaners. Packed interiors add time because we cannot reach cabinets. Do not start at 2pm for a 4pm agent.

What an HDB clean includes
Same residential checklist as our other home packages. Cabinet interiors only if empty. Oven interior, high exterior windows, paint, glue, acid wash, and machine floor-scrub are extras.
Kitchen
- Dust and wipe cabinets and countertops. Interiors if they are empty.
- Wash and disinfect the sink. Wipe kitchen wall tiles and mop the floor.
- Wipe exteriors of hob, stove and hood. Fridge inside and behind if emptied. Under and behind the washing machine.
Bathrooms
- Scrub and mop toilet walls and bathroom floor.
- Wash and disinfect the toilet bowl and bathtub if any.
- Wash and scrub the basin and vanity, inside and out.
Bedrooms
- Dust ceiling and walls. Remove cobwebs. Wipe air-con covers and ceiling fans.
- Dust and wipe cupboards and shelves, exterior and interior if empty.
- Sweep or vacuum and mop the floor. Wipe wall-mounted mirrors.
Windows (interior)
- Wipe window grilles, frames, and the interior side of the glass.
- Interior windows in hall, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

Which HDB job are you actually booking?
Empty unit, keys back to a landlord or agent: book end of tenancy cleaning. That is the handover list agents fail on: covers, tracks, cabinets, hob exteriors, bathrooms.
Contractors cut, sanded, tiled, or painted: book post renovation cleaning. Gypsum in coils is not household dust.
You still live there and the grout is grey: book spring and deep cleaning. Sofa or mattress odour is sofa cleaning or mattress cleaning, not a mop.
